When I am afraid

Writing is hard.  Giving up is easy to do.

Last night I was feeling a little overwhelmed.
The "not good enough" monster nagged me.
Then I read these words....
Luke 12:6 "...are not five sparrows sold for two pennies?  Yet not one of them is forgotten in God's sight.  Even the hairs of your head all are counted.  Do not be afraid...."

Psalm 56:3
"When I am afraid, I will trust in You."   There's my word again!!   TRUST.  Its everywhere!

And my calendar for the day says
"..don't be afraid of your fears.  They're not there to scare you.  They're there to let you know that something is worth it.                    -------C. Joy Bell

I think I see a pattern here!

  1. I love it when things come together to give you a strong message. This is how God guides us back to the plan. And you are right, this writing thing is hard. We keep growing and learning the craft, but it's hard to be patient!
    Blessings,

  2. Hello Jan. Sure wish we lived closer.
So thankful (most of the time anyways!) for technology. We are blessed to live in an age where we can "talk" to each other any time we want to. How difficult and extremely painstaking it must have been for Jane Austen to pen her novels with a quill pen. Blobs of ink messing up what she just wrote. How frustrating. If we are open and keep focused, these strong messages are there. We just need to see them. I guess the idea is to be fully awake to life. I am trying. Putting emotion on paper (computer!) is not for the faint of heart. Thanks for being just a click away. Blessings to you.
